We were advised by a park ranger after calling the day of, to reserve a spot on the end of the loop of the available campground spot as opposed to one near the entrance. He was very helpful and we ended up reserving a spot 28 at the Jamaica State Park campground. For anybody going in the future I would highly advise getting Sites 28, 30 or surrounding sites as they provide less foot traffic, and the sound of the river drowns out any other noise and makes sleep effortless.
